Dr Neha Kulshrestha, Theme II PDRA

 

Neha obtained her BSc and MSc degrees from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, in 2002 and 2004 respectively, following a teaching career in National Degree College Mainpuri, India.  She obtained her PhD degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India in 2013, where she worked on the “Electrical Transport Properties of Unfilled and Nickel filled Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes”. She was the recipient of the 6th TSMC Outstanding Research Commendation Award 2012 and Malhotra Weikfield Foundation-Nano Science Fellowship Award 2012, in Bangalore Nano India. In 2013 she worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Photonics & Display Institute, National ChiaoTung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, where she worked on Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide transistors (IGZO) based thin film transistors (TFTs).

In early 2017, she joined Prof Kostya Novoselov’s group and the 2D-Health project as a post-doctoral research associate and is currently working on graphene interface electrodes for neural stimulation and sensing.
