The second 2D Health Mini Symposium took place in Manchester on 16th May 2019.

We had excellent talks from our three Keynote speakers;

  • Dr Mark Miller from the BHF Centre for Cardiovascular Science and MRC Centre for Inflammation Research at the University of Edinburgh: Nanoparticles and the cardiovascular system: a particularly small problem
  • Professor Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Paris): Old or New Nanocarbons? Lessons from history
  • Dr Darren Wilson from Smith and Nephew: Antimicrobial Implant Coatings: Challenges, Perspectives and Opportunities
