Mr Sorayut Chattrakarn

Sorayut graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Mahidol University, Thailand in 2009. In 2014, he completed his MSc in Applied Biological Science and Environmental Health at Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Thailand. In his MSc research project, he identified the functions of two genes responsible for resistance to drugs and oxidants in pathogenic bacteria. He obtained his second MSc in Clinical Immunology from the University of Manchester involving a graphene immunology project in 2019. Currently, he is continuing his studies as a full-time PhD student in Andrew MacDonald’s laboratory, working in collaboration with the Nanomedicine Lab, to investigate the potential of graphene oxide for cancer immunotherapy.
