Tianye Liu received his Bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China in 2018. He joined “3 Years+2 Years” Joint Programme offered by the University of Manchester and NPU and obtained his Master’s degree in 2019. He is now a PhD student, under supervision of Professor Rahul Raveendran Nair and Dr. Philip Day, at the University of Manchester. His research interests focus on Graphene oxide-based ultrafiltration membranes for biomedical applications and anti-fouling strategies.
